The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
northwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
southeastern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...
northeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
southwestern Graham County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 1230 am MST

* at 1036 PM MST... a thunderstorm producing heavy rain was located
over Summerhaven... moving slowly east. In addition... an area of
moderate to locally heavy showers and thunderstorms continued
generally north and east of Tucson. Additional rainfall amounts
between 1/2 and 1 inch with heavy flow continuing in many washes
overnight.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Summerhaven... Mammoth... Tanque Verde... San
Manuel... Oracle... Redington... saddlebrooke... Catalina Foothills...
Cascabel... Catalina... Catalina State Park... Campo Bonito.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause ponding of water in
urban areas... highways... streets and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage areas and low lying spots. Expect heavy flow in
normally dry washes. Do not attempt to travel across flooded roads.
