A large area of light to moderate rains will continue to impact much of the north Georgia coastal counties through 6 am. The rain may become heavy at times along and east of Interstate 95 where localized ponding of water along area roadways may occur. Rainfall amounts will range from a few hundredths of an inch to as much as 1/4 inch. A rumble or two of thunder may also occur.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ogeechee river near Eden.
* From Wednesday morning until further notice.
* At 8 PM Tuesday the stage was 7.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 9 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage late Wednesday morning... and
continue rising to 9.9 feet Thursday early afternoon.
* At 10.0 feet... the dnr boat ramp at Morgans bridge is no longer
accessible.
