morning through Sunday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* west central Texas... including the following
areas... Brown... Callahan... Coke... Coleman... Concho...
Crockett... Fisher... Haskell... Irion... Jones... Kimble... Mason...
McCulloch... Menard... Nolan... Runnels... San Saba... Schleicher...
Shackelford... Sterling... Sutton... Taylor... Throckmorton and Tom
Green.

* From 10 am CDT this morning through Sunday morning

* widespread showers and thunderstorms will produce heavy rainfall
across west central Texas. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
expected... with locally higher amounts possible. The greatest
threat for flash flooding will be this afternoon into the
overnight hours.

* Rapid runoff from saturated soils will result in flash
flooding of low water crossings... low lying areas... and urban
areas. Additional flooding will be possible along rivers and
creeks.

A Flash Flood Watch means that heavy rainfall may lead to flash
