The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
Saluda County in central South Carolina...
southwestern Newberry County in central South Carolina...
northern Edgefield County in central South Carolina...

* until 1045 PM EDT

* at 747 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers
and isolated thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream
flooding in the advisory area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Batesburg-Leesville... Edgefield... Saluda... Johnston... Ridge
Spring... Lake Greenwood... Monetta... Trenton and Ward.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 1.50 inches is expected over the area.
This additional rain will make minor flooding.
