* locations... Robeson... Bladen... Pender County except for the
immediate coast... Columbus... Marlboro and Dillon counties.

* Hazard types... freezing rain and sleet.

* Accumulations... .ice accumulation of a trace. A light coating of sleet
is possible.

* Timing... primarily this morning.

* Impacts... roadways and walkways may become slippery. Bridges
and untreated overpasses will become dangerous.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s this morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain...
snow... or sleet will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

Flood Warning

The Flood Warning continues for
the little Pee Dee at Galivants Ferry.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:00 PM Thursday the stage was 10.65 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 10.4 feet by Saturday
morning.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... flood waters will continue to rise in the Fork retch
community located near Nichols. Flood waters will begin to affect some homes
at Fork retch. Swampland flooding will increase.
