... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST
Tuesday...
... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from 7 PM Tuesday to
noon EST Wednesday above 3500 feet...

* locations... Buncombe and southern Jackson counties

* hazards... areas of snow and blowing snow through tonight.
Also... any wet roads may freeze overnight... causing slippery
conditions. In addition... northwest winds combined with
temperatures in the single digits will result in wind chill
values of 5 to 15 degrees below zero in elevations above 3500
feet Tuesday night.

* Timing... snow showers will continue through tonight. Wind chill
values will fall below -5 degrees Tuesday evening across the
high elevations... and continue through Wednesday morning.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of up to 1 inch through
daybreak Tuesday.

* Impacts... snow and snow packed roads will make travel dangerous.
Snow accumulation and strong gusty winds could result in a few
downed trees. Wind chill values of less than -5 degrees will
make it dangerous to be outside across the high elevations
Tuesday night.

* Temperatures... falling into the teens.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Wind chill values... -5 to -15 Tuesday night in elevations above
3500 ft.
