Through midnight CST...the precipitation will mainly be south of an Encinal...Orange Grove...Rockport line...generally measuring at one hundredth of an inch...or a trace. In addition...fog will become dense along the coastal Bend...the bays and waterways...and the near shore waters...with the visibility lowering to 1/4 of a mile. Expect the visibility across the coastal plains and the brush country to range from 1 to 3 miles.

fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST Tuesday.

* Visibility... 1/4 mile or less at times.

* Impacts... dense fog will result in hazardous driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use low-beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of
