developing afternoon lightning storms... Isolated showers and thunderstorms continue to develop across the Treasure Coast and the I-4 corridor. An East Coast sea breeze developed early afternoon will move slowly inland through the day and surface boundary has formed along the I-4 corridor. Conditions are most favorable for the development of scattered showers and lightning storms in association with the sea breeze...a few of which could be on the strong side. The main threats with heavier activity includes frequent cloud to ground lightning...torrential downpours...small hail...and wind gusts to around 50 mph. A moderate threat for dangerous rip currents will exist at area beaches. Additional details...including graphics are available online at: http://www.Srh.NOAA.Gov/mlb/blog.Php
