... Flood Warning extended until Wednesday morning... the Flood
Warning continues for
the Manatee River near Myakka Head
* from late Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.
* At 8 PM Sunday the stage was 6.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 11 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by late Tuesday
morning and continue to rise to near 11.3 feet by Tuesday early
afternoon. The river is expected to fall below flood stage by early
Wednesday morning.
* Impact... at 11 feet... private Road and bridge 1 mile
downstream flood.
Agricultural, rural Kibler area begins to flood.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 11.4
feet on Sep 18 2013.

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of FL and Florida... including the following in ...

Hillsborough... coastal Lee... coastal Manatee... coastal Pasco...
   coastal Sarasota... inland Charlotte... inland Hernando...

* Through this evening

* deep tropical moisture over the region will create a threat
for very heavy rainfall across west central and southwest
Florida through Monday. 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally
higher amounts is possible.

* Heavy rain may create significant flooding of streets... urban
areas... and low lying flood prone areas. Additional river
flooding may develop across west central Florida... and
flooding will likely be exacerbated on rivers currently in
flood.
