... Wind chill warning remains in effect until 10 am EST Sunday...

* locations... western Greenbrier County.

* Hazard types... snow and blowing snow... strong gusty winds...
and dangerously low wind chills.

* Wind chill readings... 20 to 30 below zero.

* Timing... snow showers continuing through tonight. Dangerous
wind chills tonight through Sunday morning.

* Impacts... snow and blowing snow creating slick roads and areas
of reduced visibility. Dangerously low wind chill values may
quickly lead to hypothermia and frostbite.

* Winds... northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph...
beginning to subside Saturday afternoon.

* Temperatures... 5 above to 5 below zero.

* Accumulations... another 1 to 4 inches.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

... Heavier snow showers will create travel issues early this
morning...

Snow showers will be off and on over the mountains through the
morning. 1 to 2 inches of snow can be expected... mainly over the
western ridges. Some of the heavier bands will drop a quick inch
in less than an hour. With strong wind gusts... visibilities will
drop as low as 1 mile or less. With these conditions... travel will
be hazardous at times. Watch for rapid changes in weather
conditions when driving overnight.
