Persistent moderate to heavy are found across the Florida Keys...and across the Atlantic waters south of the the island chain. Through 6 PM...the heaviest activity will be found from Grassy Key to big coppit key...and motion of all west-northwest at 5 to 10 mph. These island locations will likely see periods of moderate rain to heavy rain...producing up to an additional one to 2 inches of rain. Mariners can expect moderate to heavy rain...mainly south of the Lower Keys from 10 miles south of eastern dry rocks to beyond 10 miles south of Big Pine shoal. With the heaviest activity...wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots...and visibilities reduced to 1 mile or less are possible.
