... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EST
Wednesday...

* hazard types... periods of snow... with rain at times.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches.

* Timing... periods of rain and snow through this evening.

* Impacts... slippery conditions will develop... especially
during times of snow overnight and especially Tuesday and
Tuesday night. Remember... bridges and other elevated surfaces
tend to become slippery first.

* Temperatures... in the mid 30s.

* Winds... southwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

Report snow and ice accumulation to the National Weather Service
by calling our trained spotter line... posting to the NWS Mount
Holly facebook Page... or using twitter @nws_mountholly.

Snowfall and ice accumulation forecast maps in addition to
experimental probabilistic snowfall information for the latest

Coastal Flood Advisory
Issued: 1:53 AM EST Feb. 9, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Coastal Flood Advisory in effect until 10 PM EST this
evening...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a coastal
Flood Advisory... which is in effect until 10 PM EST this evening.

* Location... the northeastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

* Coastal flooding... minor flooding is possible around the times
of high tide this morning and again this evening.

* Timing... high tide will occur between 4 and 8 am this morning,
and again between 430 and 8 PM this evening.

* Impacts... localized roadway flooding is anticipated. Some
roads may be closed due to high water.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Advisory means that minor tidal flooding is
expected. Minor tidal flooding often results in some Road
closures. Usually... the most vulnerable roadways will flood.

Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The
water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting
yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged... leading to
costly repairs.

please go to www.Weather.Gov/phi/tides (all in lower case).
