... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM EST
this evening...

* hazard types... lake effect snow.

* Snow accumulations... an additional 3 to 6 inches.

* Timing... lake effect snow showers of varying intensity will
continue through early tonight.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Impacts... untreated roads will be snow covered. The wind will
lead to blowing and drifting snow. Visibility could be greatly
reduced during brief heavier squalls... and in areas of blowing
snow. Wind chills will be in the single digits below zero all
day.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

During periods of lake effect snow... the weather can vary from
locally heavy snow in narrow bands to clear skies just a few
miles away. If you will be traveling across the region be
prepared for rapid changes in Road and visibility conditions.
