... Lake effect snow watch remains in effect from Friday afternoon
through Saturday evening...

* accumulations... storm total snow amounts of 8 to 12 inches are
possible with the highest accumulations Friday night.

* Timing... a burst of snow will accompany the passage of a cold
front late Friday afternoon. Lake effect snow bands will develop
behind the front and be heavy at times Friday night. The snow
will continue into Saturday before gradually diminishing
Saturday night.

* Impacts... snow covered roads and reduced visibility during
heavier snow showers and squalls.

* Winds... northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Temperatures... single digit temperatures combined with breezy
conditions will result in wind chill values of 10 to 20 below
zero from late Friday night through Saturday.

A lake effect snow watch means that significant winter weather is
