... Flood Watch in effect through this evening...

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a

* Flood Watch for a portion of central Pennsylvania... including
the following areas... Bedford... Blair... Cambria... Clearfield
and Somerset.

* Through this evening

* the combination of rainfall and snow melt will lead to the
possibility of urban... small stream and poor drainage flooding
across the region today. Many rivers and streams are still
frozen and the possibility of ice jams also exists.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding on small
streams... creeks... poor drainage... urban and low-lying areas
based on current forecasts.

flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
