... Wind chill warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST Sunday...

* locations... southern Tug Hill... Mohawk Valley to the western
Catskills of New York.

* Hazard types... dangerously low wind chills and extreme cold.

* Timing... through Sunday morning.

* Impacts... potential for frostbite and hypothermia. The extreme
cold may also lead to pipes freezing.

* Wind chill readings... as low as 38 below. Lowest wind chill
values will be over the higher terrain.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30
mph... gradually decreasing overnight through Sunday morning.

* Temperatures... 6 below to 18 below zero overnight into Sunday
morning. Above zero by midday Sunday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A wind chill warning means the combination of very cold air and
strong winds will create dangerously low wind chill values. This
