... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Wednesday evening
through Thursday evening...

* locations... northern New London in Connecticut and western
Passaic in New Jersey.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain tonight... then
heavy snow Wednesday night into Thursday.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches... along with
around a trace of ice.

* Timing... sleet and freezing rain will change to plain rain by
midnight. Rain then mixes with sleet and snow before changing to
all snow Wednesday evening. Snow should taper off Thursday
afternoon.

* Impacts... snow covered surfaces... coated with ice... will make
traveling difficult at times.
