... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 1 PM Monday to 1 PM EST
Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for freezing rain... sleet and snow... which is in
effect from 1 PM Monday to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* Locations... the Mohawk Valley... Lake George Saratoga
region... southeast Adirondacks and southern Vermont.

* Hazard types... freezing rain... sleet and snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 6 inches... along with
a tenth to a quarter of an inch of ice.

* Timing... snow will develop from south to north Monday afternoon
and transition to sleet and freezing rain late Monday night
before changing to rain by mid day Tuesday.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions especially Monday night
into Tuesday morning.

* Winds... southeast 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Temperatures... in the 20s rising into the low to mid 30s later
Tuesday morning.
