... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 3 PM EST this
afternoon...

* locations... portions of downeast Maine and the Bangor region.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches.

* Timing... snow will continue into Tuesday morning then taper
off to snow showers Tuesday afternoon.

* Impacts... moderate. Roads will become snow covered and
slippery during the afternoon commute and continue into
Tuesday. Some blowing and drifting snow can be expected with
visibilities reduced to one half of a mile at times.

* Winds... north 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
