* until 845 PM EDT

* at 740 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated a line of severe
thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60
mph. These storms were located along a line extending from near
Phillips to Rumford to 6 miles west of Mechanic Falls... and moving
northeast at 55 mph.

* Locations impacted include...
Farmington... Mechanic Falls... southeastern Rumford... Turner...
Madison... Jay... Belgrade... Livermore Falls... Dixfield...
Kingfield... Canton... Bingham... Carrabassett Valley... Wilton...
