At 352 am PDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and thunderstorms...along a line extending from Vernonia to Hillsboro to Scio...moving northward at 30 mph. Expect heavy downpours and deadly lightning through 6 am as these storms move across the region. Heavy rain may cause water to briefly pond and accumulate on roadways and in low spots...and cause slippery conditions for drivers.
