The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Brookport dam.
* From this evening to Saturday morning.
* At 6:00 PM Monday the stage was 37.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to 38.0 feet by Wednesday
morning... then begin a slow fall.
* Impact... at 37.0 feet... minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
agricultural bottomland and low lying areas.

* until further notice.
* At 7:00 PM Monday the stage was 42.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to 43.5 feet by Wednesday
morning... then begin a slow fall.
* Impact... at 42.0 feet... this will cause minor flooding of mainly low
lying areas.

Areas of light snow and flurries will continue off and on in many
locations this morning. Though little if any overall accumulations
are expected... slick spots may develop in localized areas where
quick bursts of heavier snow manage to develop. Also..be prepared
for the possibility of rapidly changing visibilities.
