... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST Sunday...

* wind chill readings... 10 below to 20 below zero... except 20 to
30 below zero across the High Mountain terrain above 3000 feet.

* Timing... today through Sunday morning.

* Winds... northwest 15 to 25 mph... gusts 30 to 40 mph. Winds
diminishing tonight.

* Temperatures... single digits this morning with below zero
readings over the high elevations... recovering into the lower
teens in the lower elevations and little recovery in the high
elevations. Temperatures dropping to 0 to 5 below tonight... and
as low as 10 below zero in the high elevations.

* Impacts... frost bite and hypothermia are possible if
precautions are not taken.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and
