==Discussion==

Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

A cold front will remain stalled across the South Coast today and
will continue to bring rain to the area. The heaviest rain will fall
over northern parts of Metro Vancouver and the Fraser valley near
the mountains where a total of up to 60 mm is expected. Amounts for
Howe Sound may reach 80 mm. The rain will taper off this evening as
the front moves to the east.

Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for
possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
Please monitor local media or weatheradio. To report severe weather,
send an email to pacificstorm(at)ec.Gc.CA or tweet reports to (hash)bcstorm.
