Updated or ended by 4:40 p.M. ADT.

At 3:41 p.M. ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing heavy rain.

Thunderstorms moving through the region are producing locally heavy
downpours of up to 50 mm.

Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Rapidly
rising rivers and creeks can sweep away bridges, culverts,
buildings, and people. Large hail can damage property and cause
injury. Extremely large hail can smash windows, destroy property and
vehicles and cause life-threatening injury. Remember, severe
thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Avoid driving through water on
roads. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
Lightning kills and injures canadians every year. Remember, when
thunder roars, go indoors(exclamation mark)

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
Please monitor local media or weatheradio. To report severe weather,
send an email to weatheraspc(at)ec.Gc.CA or tweet reports to (hash)pestorm.
