... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until midnight EST
tonight...
... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from midnight tonight to
10 am EST Sunday...

* hazard types... low wind chill readings and the potential for
heavy snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches.

* Wind chill... as low as 29 below due to temperatures 7 below to
4 above zero... and winds northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to
40 mph.

* Timing... snow will develop early this morning... with the
heaviest snow expected during the day Saturday. Low wind chills
are expected Saturday night and Sunday.

* Impacts... snow covered and slick roads are expected on
Saturday. Frostbite and hypothermia if unprotected from the
cold. Lower visibilities in blowing snow are expected also.

* Winds... north 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less at times.

* Temperatures... 7 below to 20 above zero.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
