through Tuesday morning...

* locations... foothills and Piedmont of northwest North Carolina
into Southside Virginia.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... 2 to 5 inches of snow and sleet. Around a
tenth of an inch of ice.

* Timing... snow developing Sunday night before changing to a
wintry mix of sleet and some freezing rain Monday afternoon
into early Tuesday.

* Impacts... travel will become hazardous Sunday night into early
Tuesday.
