Special Statement
Issued: 1:34 AM EST Feb. 14, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Bands of scattered ocean effect snow showers across the Outer-
Cape will result in slippery roads and with strong winds locally
poor visibility is expected...

Bands of scattered ocean effect snow showers were developing
across the Outer-Cape very early this morning... especially near
Provincetown. Roads may become snow covered and slippery. The
other concern will be the strong winds... which may result in poor
visibility at times. Given the extreme cold and strong winds...
travel is discouraged early this morning across the Outer-Cape.

Snow accumulations will vary considerable across the Outer-
Cape... but 1 to 2 inches is certainly possible with a low risk for
3 to 4 inches. The scattered snow showers will persist into the
morning hours... before tapering off and coming to an end this
afternoon.
