... Cooler tmperatures and windy conditions expected for
Saturday...

A cool front is expected to track across the two state area this
weekend and also produce windy conditions on Saturday. West to
southwest winds ranging between 25 to 35 mph with gusts around 45
mph will create areas of blowing dust reducing visibility across
south central Washington and north central Oregon.

Motorists are advised to use caution when driving and stay tuned
to the internet and or local TV/radio for possible updates
regarding this event.

... Cooler tmperatures and windy conditions expected for
Saturday...

A cool front is expected to track across the two state area this
weekend and also produce windy conditions on Saturday. West to
southwest winds ranging between 25 to 35 mph with gusts around 45
mph will create areas of blowing dust reducing visibility across
south central Washington and north central Oregon.

Motorists are advised to use caution when driving and stay tuned

... Air quality alert in effect until further notice...

Oregon department of environmental quality along with support from
the Washington state department of ecology has issued an air
quality alert... until further notice.

A smoke air quality alert has been issued. Wildfires burning in the
region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to
reach unhealthy levels.

Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes... runny nose... aggravate
heart and lung diseases... and aggravate other serious health
problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it
is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung
condition.

In addition a cold front will pass through the two state area
Saturday and create windy conditions. Although the air quality
may improve briefly... the windy conditions will also produce
areas of blowing dust that will continue to aggravate the
unhealthy air quality through the weekend.
