Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 2:52 AM PST Feb. 9, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 11 am this morning for the
south Willamette Valley...

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 11 am PST this morning.

* Visibility: generally one quarter to one half of a mile... but
expect areas where visibilities will be well less than a quarter
of a mile.

* Timing: through 11 am this morning. Fog will gradually thin
afterwards.

* Locations include: Eugene... Springfield... Corvallis...
Albany... Lebanon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
