Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 7:08 AM PST Feb. 12, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 11 am PST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 11 am PST this morning.

* Location... mainly along and west of Highway 99 in the San
Joaquin Valley. Highways affected include Highway 152 from
Merced to Los Banos. Highway 41 from Fresno to Stratford...
Highway 43... Highway 198 from Lemoore to Visalia... Highway 180
west of Fresno... and many secondary roads.

* Timing... areas of dense fog will persist through mid-morning.

* Impacts... dense fog with visibilities less than one quarter mile
will create hazardous driving conditions. Visibility will be
less than 500 feet in some areas. Drive with caution... slow down
and use low beam headlights.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
