The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
south central Rio Arriba County in north central New Mexico...
northeastern Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...

* until 345 PM MDT

* at 139 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Although storms were beginning to
show signs of diminishing... an estimated one to two inches of rain
have already fallen over the Rio Cebolla. This will create
excessive runoff into Fenton Lake and surrounding areas.

* Locations impacted include...
Fenton Lake State Park.

Other locations affected include the following locations
Redondo campground... San Antonio campground... Seven Springs day use
area... Fenton Lake State Park... and Battleship Rock.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

The heavy rainfall and slow movement of these storms may result in
flooding of Road intersections and low-lying areas. Waters may
begin to run in normally dry arroyos.

To report severe weather... contact the National Weather Service
forecast office Albuquerque at 1-888-386-7637.
