Statement as of 7:52 PM MDT on September 03, 2015

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 930 PM MST for
west central Navajo County...

At 750 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated scattered light rain showers
to continue over the warned area... .which is for the Cottonwood Wash
northeast of Winslow. Up to two inches of rain had fallen earlier
this evening.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Blairs Spring
wash... Cottonwood Wash... fern feather wash... humpy wash and Little
Colorado River.

Also includes is State Route 87 between mile markers 347 and 363.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
