... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 415 PM MDT
for central Jefferson... southwestern Fremont and northwestern Madison
counties...

At 358 PM MDT... Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable
of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60
mph. This storm was located over Hamer... or 15 miles east of
Terreton... moving east at 20 mph. A second storm was located between
Mud Lake and Sage Junction.

Locations impacted include...
Terreton... Menan... Roberts... Mud Lake... Hamer... Plano... Sage Junction
and southern Saint Anthony sand dunes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Severe thunderstorms produce damaging winds... destructive hail...
deadly lightning and very heavy rain. For your protection move to an
interior room on the lowest floor of your home or business. Heavy
rains flood roads quickly so do not drive into areas where water
covers the Road.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm... and may lead

northeastern Clark and central Fremont counties until 445 PM MDT...

At 407 PM MDT... Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Spencer... moving east at 30 mph.

Half inch hail... winds over 40 mph and very heavy rain will be
possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Idmon... Spencer... Kilgore... Southern Island Park Reservoir and
Sheridan Reservoir.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm... and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify... so be certain to monitor local radio and
TV stations... as well as local cable TV outlets... for additional

... Red flag warning in effect from 9 am to 9 PM MDT Wednesday for
thunderstorms and gusty winds for southeast Idaho fire weather
zones 410 and 413 below 5000ft...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a red flag
warning... which is in effect from 9 am to 9 PM MDT Wednesday.

* Affected area... fire weather zones 410 and 413 below 5000ft.

* Wind... gusts to around 50mph with thunderstorms.

* Thunderstorms... scattered or greater coverage from late
morning Wednesday through the evening hours.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. Fires may experience
rapid rates of growth. Please advise the appropriate officials or
fire crews in the field of the red flag warning for portions of
southeast Idaho.
