Fire Weather Warning
Statement as of 3:14 PM MDT on August 30, 2015

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening
for gusty wind... low humidity... hot temperatures... and a Haines
index of 6...

* wind... southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph in exposed
areas.

* Humidity... 11 to 15 percent.

* Haines index... 6.

* Thunderstorms... isolated to widely scattered dry thunderstorms.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended and campfires need to be
out cold.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures will
create extreme fire behavior.
