... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon today to 6 am MST
Monday...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow..which is in effect
from noon today to 6 am MST Monday.

* Timing... snow will increase by early afternoon and continue this
evening before decreasing late tonight.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches.

* Wind/visibility... west 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph.
Visibilities will be less than one quarter mile at times in
blowing snow.

* Impacts... persons planning travel into the Colorado high country
should be prepared for hazardous driving conditions... slow
travel... snow packed roads... and poor visibility in spots.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
