Special Statement
Statement as of 11:13 PM CDT on September 01, 2015

... Special Weather Statement...

Widespread showers and thunderstorms continue generally from the
Marshall Minnesota... to Windom and Jackson Minnesota vicinities.
These storms are moving slowly eastward... and showing only
isolated to scattered redevelopment behind the main rain axis.
Radar is showing the storms currently weakening a bit also. Therefore
the heaviest rain will likely exit southwest Minnesota between
midnight and 1 am. In the meantime... the heaviest cells will
produce around 2 inches of rain... possibly a bit more... with most
activity producing three quarters of an inch to just less than two
inches. Low lying and poor drainage areas could fill up with water
under the heavier rain rates.
