* snow showers will will continue tonight. The bands of snow
   will persist through Wednesday night.

* Snow will be heavy at times.

* This will be a prolonged snow event... through Thursday morning.
   6 or more inches of snow will occur by Thursday morning.

Impacts...

* roads will be snow covered and slippery.

* Travel through Thursday morning be slow and hazardous. An
   increased risk for multiple vehicle pileups will exist.

* Road salt will become less effective into tonight as
   temperatures drop into the teens. The cold air will continue
