... Lake effect snow watch in effect from late tonight through
Thursday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a lake
effect snow watch... which is in effect from late tonight through
Thursday afternoon for the snowbelt of extreme northeast Ohio and
northwest Pennsylvania.

* Accumulations... snow accumulations of 6 to 14 inches are
possible. The highest amounts will probably occur across inland
Erie County Pennsylvania.

* Timing... snow late tonight and Wednesday will transition to
lake effect snow showers and squalls by Wednesday night and
continue into Thursday.

* Impacts... snow covered roads and reduced visibility during
heavier snow showers and squalls.

* Winds... west generally 10 to 20 mph. Gusts of 25 to 30 mph are
possible along the Lake Erie Lakeshore.

* Temperatures... in the 20s on Wednesday dropping to near 10 by
Thursday morning.

A lake effect snow watch means that significant winter weather is
possible in localized areas within the next 36 hours. Stay tuned
