Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 4:22 AM EST Feb. 8, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to
6 am EST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 6 PM this
evening to 6 am EST Wednesday.

* Hazard types... snow showers.

* Accumulations... snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are
expected over a 36 hour period tonight through Tuesday night.

* Timing... rain showers will transition over to snow showers later
this evening. Occasional snow showers will then continue
tonight through Tuesday night.

* Impacts... travel difficulties are expected due to reduced
visibilities and snow accumulations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... a Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods
of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for
snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution
while driving. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or your favorite
source of information for the latest updates. Additional details
can also be found at www.Weather.Gov/iln as well as on our
facebook and twitter pages.
