... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 415 PM EDT
for south central York... east central Rockingham and southeastern
Strafford counties...

At 354 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable
of producing large destructive hail up to baseball size and damaging
winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located 9 miles southeast
of Wells... or 16 miles northeast of Kittery... moving east at 40 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Portsmouth... Kittery... Kennebunk... Greenland... Wells... York... Great
Bay National wildlife Refuge... Newington... Rye... Stratham... South
Berwick... Eliot... Ogunquit... New Castle and Rye Harbor State Park.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

This is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path... prepare
immediately for large destructive hail capable of producing
significant damage. People outside should move to a shelter...
