* at 806 PM CDT... severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles north of Conlen to 5 miles north of
Dalhart... and moving southeast at 30 mph.

Hazard... ping pong Ball size hail and 65 mph wind gusts.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail

* Flash Flood Warning for...
northeastern Sherman County in the Panhandle of Texas...
northwestern Hansford County in the Panhandle of Texas...
southwestern Texas County in the Panhandle of Oklahoma...

* until 1130 PM CDT

* at 832 PM CDT... a schoolnet site in Texhoma has reported over 2
inches of rainfall over the past hour with a line of stationary
thunderstorms. Additional heavy rain is expected with an additional
inch or two possible. Flash flooding is likely to occur or is
already occurring. Runoff from the heavy rainfall will continue
over a prolonged period of time... even if the rain should taper
off.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Texhoma... Goodwell...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... and highways. Additionally... country roads and
farmlands along the banks of creeks... streams and other low lying
areas are subject to flooding.

* Urban Flood Advisory for...
northeastern Sherman County in the Panhandle of Texas...
northwestern Hansford County in the Panhandle of Texas...
southeastern Cimarron County in the Panhandle of Oklahoma...
southwestern Texas County in the Panhandle of Oklahoma...

* until 1100 PM CDT

* at 755 PM CDT... National Weather Service meteorologists detected an
area of stationary thunderstorms with heavy rainfall along a line
extending from 10 miles southeast of Boise City to 7 miles east of
Griggs to 9 miles southeast of Texhoma. Doppler radar indicates 1 to
2 inches of rain have already fallen over parts of the advisory area
with additional heavy rain expected. Runoff from this excessive
rainfall will cause flooding to occur... especially along small
streams and near low water crossings.
