* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
Orange County in east central Florida...
northwestern Osceola County in east central Florida...

* until 1115 PM EDT

* at 920 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated very heavy rain due to
slow moving thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream
flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Metro Orlando... Kissimmee... Ocoee... Winter Garden and Saint Cloud.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause ponding of water in
urban areas... highways... streets as well as other low lying and poor
drainage areas. Do not attempt to travel across flooded roads of
unknown depth. Find alternate routes.

The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of Florida and east central Florida...
   including the following in Florida... northern ... Brevard
County and southern Brevard County. In east central Florida...
coastal Volusia County... Indian River... inland Volusia
County... Martin... Northern Lake County... Okeechobee... Orange...
   Osceola... Seminole... Southern Lake County and St. Lucie.

* Through Monday evening

* deep tropical moisture over the region combined with the
tropical moisture from the remnants of Erika currently over
central Cuba will create a threat for very heavy rainfall across
east central Florida through Monday. 2 to 3 inches of rain with
locally higher amounts 3 to 5 inches are possible.

* Heavy rain may create significant flooding of streets... urban
areas... and low lying flood prone areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.

mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph... frequent lightning and extremely heavy
rain will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Kissimmee... Saint Cloud... Buena Ventura lakes and
Narcoossee.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

The primary threats will be cloud to ground lightning and strong wind
gusts... which can cause unsecured objects to blow around... snap tree
limbs... cause power outages or capsize small boats. Heavy rainfall
will temporarily reduce visibility. Seek shelter indoors until the
storm passes.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm... which will reduce
visibility and may lead to temporary flooding of low lying and poor
drainage areas. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
