* hazard... very cold air and wind.

* Wind chill readings... 10 below to 20 below zero... except 20 to
30 below zero across the High Mountain terrain.

* Timing... late tonight into Sunday morning.

* Winds... northwest 15 to 25 mph... gusts 30 to 40 mph.

* Temperatures... from 5 below zero across high elevations to 10
above zero along some river valleys tonight.

* Impacts... frost bite and hypothermia are possible if
precautions are not taken.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and

At 1105 PM EST... an area of snow squalls were located over
Mallory... or 12 miles southeast of Logan... moving southeast at 30
mph. Additional snow squalls were located upstream... across portions
of eastern Kentucky... and will move southeast as well.

Wind gusts up to 35 mph are possible with this squall.

Beckley... Williamson... Madison... Louisa... Welch... Logan... Wayne... Pineville...
Blaine... Beech Fork State Park... Grayson Lake State Park... Yatesville
