southern Dauphin... northwestern Lancaster... southwestern Juniata...
southwestern Mifflin... southern Huntingdon and Perry counties...

* until 900 am EST.

* At 755 am EST... several narrow bands of snow squalls were located
along... and within 15 miles north and south of a line extending
from near Mount Union to near East Petersburg. The snow squall
bands were nearly stationary.


Winds of 30 mph are possible with this squall.

The squalls will be near...
East Petersburg... Lititz and Salunga-Landisville around 800 am EST.
Rothsville around 810 am EST.
Akron around 820 am EST.
Perulack and Ephrata around 830 am EST.
East Rutherford around 835 am EST.
Honey Grove around 840 am EST.

Other locations impacted by the squalls include York Haven... York
Springs... Orbisonia... Idaville and Longfellow.

This includes the following interstates...
the Pennsylvania Turnpike from mile markers 193 to 270.
Interstate 81 from mile markers 28 to 75.
Interstate 83 from mile markers 23 to 50.
Interstate 283 from mile markers 0 to 2.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
these bands of snow squalls. Snow accumulations of up to one inch
could occur in 30 minutes or less.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this snow
squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads are
likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
