... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM EST
Thursday...

* snow accumulations... 3 to 5 inches.

* Timing... occasional snow showers of varying intensity will occur
overnight into Thursday evening.

* Winds... west to northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts
around 25 mph will lead to areas of blowing and drifting snow.

* Impacts... untreated roads will be snow covered and hazardous.
Visibility could be greatly reduced during brief heavier
squalls... and in areas of blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Hazardous winter weather conditions are expected or occurring.
Use caution if traveling. For the latest weather information... go

* At 826 PM EST... a broken line of snow showers and squalls extended
from near Franklindale to near Karthaus to near Ford City... and
moving southeast at 20 mph.

This squall will be near...
Moshannon around 850 PM EST.
Snow Shoe and Clarence around 855 PM EST.


Other locations impacted by this this line of snow showers and
squalls include Lumber City... Hillsgrove... Beech Creek... Colver and
Ramey.

For those driving on Interstate 80... this includes areas between the
Clearfield and Milton-Williamsport exits... specifically from mile
markers 121 to 211.

This includes the following interstates...
Interstate 99 from mile markers 38 to 85.
Interstate 180

While radar indicates the line of snow showers and squalls is
weakening... visibilities can still drop quickly to near zero with
rapidly changing Road conditions.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this line of
snow showers and squalls. Rapid changes in visibility and
potentially slick roads are likely to lead to accidents. Consider
delaying travel until the squall passes your location.
