... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from midnight Saturday
night to 10 am EST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Storm
Warning for heavy snow... which is in effect until midnight EST
Saturday night. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

* Hazard types... low wind chill readings and the potential for
heavy snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches. The highest
accumulations will likely be localized in a rather narrow band.
Therefore uncertainties in snowfall amounts still remain.

to 35 mph.

* Timing... snow will develop after midnight tonight... with the
heaviest snow expected during the day Saturday. Low wind chills
are expected Saturday night and Sunday.

* Impacts... snow covered and slick roads are expected on Saturday.
Frostbite and hypothermia if unprotected from the cold. Lower
visibilities in blowing snow are expected also.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Visibilities... one quarter to one half mile at times.

* Temperatures... 5 below to 20 above zero.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
