... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from late tonight through
late Saturday night...

* locations... Hancock and southern Penobscot County.

* Hazard types... snow and blowing snow.

* Accumulations... potential snow accumulation of 7 to 15 inches
in a very narrow band along the coast. Amounts will likely drop
off considerably inland towards interior Hancock County and
southern Penobscot County.

* Timing... late Friday night to Saturday night.

* Impacts... moderate impact. Locally heavy snowfall and areas of
blowing snow will result in difficult driving conditions.
Snowfall will decrease later Saturday but blowing snow will
continue into Saturday night.

* Winds... northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 20s.

* Visibilities... 1/4sm or less at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
