Air Quality Alert


... An air quality advisory from the Idaho department of
environmental quality remains in effect...

Due to elevated pollutant levels and a stable atmosphere... local
residential wood burning restriction ordinances continue for
Franklin County.

Those individuals having an inherent sensitivity to increased
particulate levels are encouraged to avoid prolonged physical
exertion outside. At these levels there is an increasing
likelihood of respiratory symptoms and increased aggravation of
asthma and/or lung ailments.

Another statement will be issued about 9 am MST Tuesday unless
conditions improve and the advisory is no longer needed.
