... Freezing Rain Advisory in effect until midnight CST tonight...
The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Freezing
Rain Advisory... which is in effect until midnight CST tonight.
* Timing... freezing drizzle will develop between 4 PM and 6
PM... then continue throughout the evening. The freezing drizzle
will gradually come to an end from west to east across the area
* Ice accumulations... ice accumulations of less than one quarter
of an inch are expected.
* Impacts... due to the light snowfall from today... and the
expected freezing drizzle this evening... many untreated and
secondary roads will become slick and hazardous. Motorists are
advised to drive with caution and plan on extra time to arrive
at their destinations.
A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
